Founders’ Hall
Founded in 1951, Hill House International Junior School in Chelsea is the oldest family-run school in London. In 2009 it purchased the former Welsh Congregational Chapel in Radnor Walk to create Founders’ Hall, a new centre for art, drama, music, IT and sport. Bounded on three sides by existing properties and near a busy junction, the Grade II listed building required careful and specialist renovation works, and extensive party wall agreements. Managed by Total Construction on behalf of the client, the project involved complete re-roofing and internal reconfiguration of the two-storey space, including improved toilet facilities and new offices.
