Project description:
TCL’s works are mainly –an extension on the southern elevation of the existing sports centre and refurbishment of some areas on the southern end of the existing building to provide an increase in capacity to the existing gym/ changing areas, new offices, new classroom, new café and an extension to the viewing platform.
Overall a two storey extension and refurbishment / reconfiguration of an existing sports centre to Caterham School with Steel Frame Structure with Brick and Curtain Walling Façade. A ground anchor system will be used before construction of a retaining wall that will form the undercroft to first floor café, gym area.
Works started in July 2022 and due for completion in May 2023.
